A Year In Review: 2017

Hello everyone, and welcome back to The Bookworm’s Fantasy! I hope you’re all doing well. Today’s post is going to be a recap of all the books I read in 2017. Goodreads has a feature called “my year in books” which I thought was really fun, so I thought I’d show you what my reading year consisted of! If you’d like to add me on Goodreads, you can find me here. So, here goes…

My Goodreads Reading Challenge.

I am thrilled to announce that I not only completed my Goodreads reading challenge target of 70 books, but I also surpassed that number! As of the 31st December (these screenshots were taken on the 14th), I have read 73 books this year.

At times, it was really tough to keep going with reading. I have had so much university work during 2017 and have been really busy, so it’s been really hard to squeeze in time to read for pleasure. I was a bit lazy at times, and possibly gave myself one too many days off reading to just relax, but I still did it!

Next year, I’m going to expand my target just a little bit to 80 books. I’ll be finishing university in May 2018 and graduating (hopefully) in July, so after that I should have lots of extra spare time for reading! I’m pretty confident I can do it – fingers crossed!

I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has supported my blog this year. Those of you who follow me, share, like, or even just read my posts – you all have helped make my reading year and my blogging experience very positive, and I probably wouldn’t have kept going if it wasn’t for the support and enthusiasm of those around me. Thanks so much to you all!
