Bumper Cars: A Poem

As some of you may or may not know, a little over 4 months ago I was involved in a car crash that completely changed my life. It’s one of those things that you never ever expect to happen to you. As a result, I suffer with severe back and neck pain, PTSD, anxiety and depression. But I’m lucky to still be alive today.

Seeing as it’s #worldpoetryday, I thought I would share one of my poems about the accident. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about it – but writing has been a really positive output for me.

I’m fighting hard to bounce back from this and hopefully one day I will be able to move on. Thank you for reading 💖
